About The Position

The Assistant Cheer Coach supports the Head Coach in all aspects of developing and managing a successful cheerleading program. This includes assisting with practices, teaching skills, ensuring safety, and fostering a positive team environment. Responsibilities also involve game and competition preparation, student athlete development, and sometimes administrative tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors degree;
• Strong communication skills;
• Knowledge of MSSADA rules;
• Potential for coaching certification;
• Previous coaching and/ or cheering experience preferred
