About The Position

The Assistant-Certified Medical position involves providing personal care assistance to patients under the direction of licensed personnel and/or the Administrator. The role is situated within the BMG NEA Clinics in Jonesboro, AR, and operates on a day schedule. The primary focus is on direct patient care and ensuring patient safety while also performing clerical tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Approved nursing or medical assistant course.
• Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral, and verbal formats.
• Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.
• Computer literacy.
• Certified by a National Certification Board (National Center for Competency Testing) or obtain within 6 months of hire date.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire date.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of one year experience.
• Phlebotomy experience.
