About The Position

The Assistant-Certified Medical position involves providing personal care assistance to patients under the direction of licensed personnel and/or the Administrator. The role is situated within the Premier Clinic at MBMC Central MS in Jackson, MS, and operates on a day schedule.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year experience.
• Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral, and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency.
• Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.
• Approved nursing or medical assistant course.
• Computer literacy.
• Maintain Certification.
• Certified by an approved accredited certification body or certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire date.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire date.

Nice To Haves

• Phlebotomy experience.
