About The Position

The Learning Experience in Santa Clarita is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Center Director to support daily center operations and partner closely with the Center Director. This is an urgent leadership role and is ideal for a candidate with strong center management experience who thrives in a fast paced, team oriented environment.

Requirements

  • Must have center management experience
  • Minimum of three years experience in a licensed early learning or childcare center
  • ECE units per California licensing guidelines
  • CPR and First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain
  • Proven leadership experience in early childhood education
  • Strong organizational, scheduling, and decision making skills
  • Reliable, professional, and confident communicator
  • Ability to manage priorities in a time sensitive environment

Responsibilities

  • Support the Center Director with daily operations and administrative leadership
  • Assist with staff scheduling, coverage, and ratio management
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to teaching staff
  • Support enrollment, tours, and family communication
  • Ensure compliance with California licensing and company standards
  • Assist with training, onboarding, and staff development
  • Maintain a positive, organized, and collaborative center environment
