About The Position

Fairfax Radiology Centers — the largest radiology practice in Northern Virginia — is seeking an Assistant Center and Breast Services Manager to support our Fairfax Radiology Center of Centreville. This leadership position plays a vital role in ensuring exceptional patient care, operational excellence, and a highly engaged clinical team within our breast imaging services. As a key partner to the Center Manager, you will provide daily operational oversight, support staff growth and retention, uphold accreditation standards, and help maintain a positive, efficient, and patient-centered environment. About the Role This is a full-time, benefitted position located at our Fairfax Radiology Center of Centreville.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or completion of a certified radiologic technologist program
  • A minimum of five years of experience in breast imaging including two years of lead or supervisory experience; comparable combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Current Radiologic Technologist license meeting state and ACR requirements
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, clinical workflow, and office procedures
  • Experience in HR practices, including supervision and staff development
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily operational oversight and leadership within the Breast Center, also serving as an Assistant Center Manager
  • Serve as a working manager in Breast Services
  • Perform breast imaging scans and technologist duties when needed
  • Manage and optimize clinical workflow to support efficient, high-quality patient care and exceptional patient satisfaction
  • Implement workflow and quality improvements to enhance productivity and service delivery
  • Foster a collaborative, professional, and accountable work environment
  • Manage breast imaging accreditation activities and ensure all documentation is completed accurately
  • Address patient concerns professionally and diplomatically
  • Maintain and evaluate quality and performance metrics
  • Coordinate regular center and departmental meetings
