About The Position

Sweetwater, the nation's number 1 online retailer of musical instruments and pro audio gear is seeking an Assistant Category Manager specializing in the area of Pro Audio. The Assistant Category Manager will be responsible for answering product availability questions, pre-sales questions from our Sales Engineers, updating price lists, and perform other duties as requested from the Category Manager.

Requirements

• Ability to effectively provide support to Sales
• High School diploma or equivalent or 3 years industry experience
• Knowledge of wireless, audio Interfaces, microphones, mixers, etc.
• Knowledge of live sound engineering, recording and installation
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Paying close attention to detail and a high level of organization
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

• Degree or Certificate in Music Technology or similar preferred

Responsibilities

• Assisting their Category Manager in maintaining the inventory and assortment
• Deliver service and support to Sales Engineers via phone and email
• Working with our numerous vendors to resolve a variety of issues for Sales Engineers
• Creating and maintaining records inventory records in 4D
• Managing Market Price Reports
• Managing exception reports promptly and accurately
• Staying current with system information, changes, and updates
