About The Position

The Assistant Carpenter position at Caesars Entertainment involves supporting the technical aspects of performances in the Flamingo Showroom. This role requires a blend of carpentry skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication to ensure smooth operations during shows and events.

Requirements

• IATSE 720 member - 'A' List
• Prior production show experience as an Assistant Carpenter for at least 5 years.
• Ability to work with the Department Head.
• Ability to work with numerous cast members and crew to troubleshoot operational show issues.
• Willingness to take work calls for general daily maintenance and rehearsals.
• Ability to work 6 days a week on a long-term basis.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Ability to read and understand build drawings.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to train on more than one set of cues based on theatrical knowledge and skillset for other departments.

Responsibilities

• Run cue track for performances within the Flamingo Showroom and other special events/shows in the theater.
• Perform general checks of equipment prior to each performance.
• Multitask and adapt by watching the show and artists' movements, adjusting cues as needed.
• Troubleshoot issues that arise during a show using clear communication to problem-solve in a timely manner.
