As our Assistant Camp Director at River Glen, you’ll play a key leadership role in supporting the planning and execution of seasonal camps and children’s programming at this specific club location. You’ll help bring camp to life each day — ensuring safe, organized, high-energy experiences that families trust and kids look forward to year after year. This position offers flexibility: Seasonal Option: Ideal for educators or youth leaders seeking meaningful summer leadership work. Extended / Year-Round Option: In addition to camp leadership, support School Days Out, family programming, and youth-focused special events throughout the year. Working closely with the Camp Director, you’ll assist with staff supervision and development, daily operations, curriculum coordination, and family communication. You’ll help maintain safety standards, support enrollment goals, and ensure each program day runs smoothly from drop-off to pick-up. This role blends leadership, organization, creativity, and hospitality — serving as a hands-on presence in programming while developing counselors and fostering a fun, structured, and engaging environment for every child. You’ll support seasonal planning, staffing coordination, activity execution, and continuous improvement — ensuring every youth touchpoint at River Glen feels energetic, professional, and aligned with the Elite experience.
