About The Position

Assistant Cage Supervisor is a liaison between Cage Management and Cage Tellers. This position is responsible for the operational oversight of the Tellers during the assigned shift.

Requirements

Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a casino cage environment.
High school diploma or equivalent combination of work experience and education.
A casino work permit from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Strong verbal, written, and phone communication skills with all levels of staff and management.
Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
Proven record of reliability and punctuality.
Professional, well-groomed appearance in line with company standards.
Computer literacy and ethical decision-making abilities.
In-depth understanding of cage operations and procedures.
Ability to manage significant responsibilities with strong leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee Teller performance, including coaching and disciplinary actions as necessary.
Adjust Teller schedules based on business demands.
Assist in the implementation and enforcement of company policies and procedures.
Maintain extensive knowledge of departmental computer systems.
Ensure all cage equipment is maintained and in working order.
Generate and submit daily reports on cage activities as required.
Perform basic accounting functions, clerical duties, filing, and proficient use of a 10-key calculator.
Resolve any operational issues that may arise during the shift.
Maintain open communication with other Cage Supervisors to ensure departmental efficiency and consistency.
