JOB SUMMARY Responsible for overseeing the daily operations and personnel of the casino cage during an assigned shift. Ensures compliance with internal controls, facilitates efficient cash handling procedures, and maintains a high level of customer service and team performance. HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY Supervise daily operations and personnel within the Cage and Cashier departments during assigned shifts. Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork and collaboration across departments. Ensure compliance with company policies, gaming regulations, and other applicable governmental guidelines. Safeguard company assets while maintaining efficient and courteous service in alignment with service standards. Monitor Cage activities to ensure adherence to operational procedures and regulatory requirements. Authorize credit transactions within established limits. Oversee banking functions including check and marker processing, and currency purchases. Ensure exceptional guest service and resolve customer disputes professionally. Prepare and manage staff schedules to meet business needs and maintain operational efficiency. Conduct performance evaluations and support staff development. Participate in the recruitment and interviewing process for Cashier positions. Serve as a role model by upholding company values and encouraging professional conduct. Maintain consistent attendance and compliance with all company and regulatory policies. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Cage Manager.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, or experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a related field.
  • Solid mathematical and clerical aptitude for accurate recordkeeping.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all required licenses or certifications, including a valid Nevada Gaming License.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with team members and foster a team-oriented environment.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor are required.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
