Responsibilities Position will be a working manager that will oversee the operations and management of the café while performing the following duties: Coordinates with café director to ensure that the café is adequately staffed at all times of operation. Supervises and participates in daily operations of café on the cook line, in the kitchen, and at the cash register. Makes recommendations and decisions regarding overall operation of the café. Makes recommendations on changes in pricing, and/or changes in products offered. Prepares reports and maintains required records for such areas as inventory control, café sales, and café costs. Follows established procedures for cleanliness and food preparation and ensures that food service work areas are maintained in a clean and sanitary manner an in accordance with government and company standards. Seeks to maximize revenue opportunities and minimize costs. Delivers exceptional service to all customers including non-driving and driving associates. Ensures all associates are aware of their responsibilities and are given supervision and motivation on all aspects of their work. Develops a team of associates that take pride in their job and take ownership of their work Orients and trains staff in proper work practices when they are hired and conducts and evaluates retraining and refresher training. Assures that meals are prepared and delivered on time and in acceptable quantity and quality. Shift needed: Tuesday - Saturday 2:30pm - 10:30pm
