The Assistant C-Store Manager at Three Bears Alaska Inc. plays a crucial role in supporting the C-Store Manager in the daily operations of the store. Conducting performance evaluations and recommending personnel actions are also part of the responsibilities. The Assistant Manager will coordinate logistics with truck drivers for loading and unloading, evaluate store conditions, set priorities, and supervise team members to achieve company goals. The position also involves ensuring compliance with safety and security procedures and corporate policies. The Assistant C-Store Manager will operate various equipment, including manual pallet jacks and trash compactors, and will utilize computer skills for tasks such as managing spreadsheets and email communications. The role requires strong physical capabilities, including lifting, bending, and fine motor skills, as well as the ability to work in a climate-controlled warehouse with occasional exposure to extreme cold and chemicals.
