About The Position

The Assistant Buffet Manager at MGM Northfield Park plays a crucial role in supporting the General Manager by providing leadership and direction to the restaurant service team. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of Food and Beverage supervisory experience.
  • Complete knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to optimize staffing for efficiency and cost management.
  • Working knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems and operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the General Manager in leading the restaurant service team.
  • Manage daily restaurant operations including fiscal budgets and labor productivity.
  • Monitor staff performance, scheduling, and training.
  • Execute marketing strategies to enhance profitability.
  • Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction and address complaints.
  • Implement policies, operating procedures, and training programs for staff.
  • Oversee the execution of food and beverage initiatives.
