About The Position

As an Assistant Branch Manager at our Deland branch, you’ll be the first step in helping our members live financially free. Your Role in Our Mission: Foster a positive, coaching-focused environment to develop your team and ensure service, lending, and product penetration goals (such as membership and services per household) are consistently met. Serve as a loan officer and interviewer, processing applications and disbursing funds while educating members on lending solutions tailored to their needs. Open new accounts and provide guidance on FAIRWINDS products and services to both new and existing members, ensuring a comprehensive, one-stop experience. Support team members in delivering effective cross-selling and relationship-building strategies that increase member engagement and deepen financial partnerships. Address member concerns with professionalism and care, resolving issues quickly while protecting the member relationship. Assist in strategic branch planning, including the development of business lending strategies and initiatives to grow member relationships. Lead or support key operational areas of the branch, including staffing, hiring, scheduling, training, and conducting performance evaluations. Collaborate with the Branch Manager to meet or exceed branch performance goals and uphold all compliance and operational standards. Live and model The FAIRWINDS Way values in everything you do. Requirements

Proven track record of high performance in a member-facing and/or leadership role.
A natural coach and mentor; you enjoy developing others, offering feedback, and creating an environment where people thrive.
Strong knowledge of FAIRWINDS products, services, systems, and lending procedures, with confidence in presenting and recommending solutions.
You demonstrate excellent judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle escalated member concerns effectively and professionally.
Proven success in sales, service, and relationship-building; you're comfortable coaching others to do the same.
Highly organized, goal-oriented, and driven by both results and team success.
Comfortable collaborating with leadership to build strategies and contribute to long-term branch planning.
Ready and eager to take on a greater leadership role and serve as a right-hand partner to your Branch Manager.
