Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is required (ideal majors include Business, Finance, Sales or related field).
  • Professional demeanor, positive attitude, strong communication and customer relations skills.
  • Ability to work well independently, as well as a team member in a fast-paced environment and successfully navigate priorities.
  • Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance, and a satisfactory driving record.
  • Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background history, credit history and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Ability to meet the eligibility requirements for insurance licensing in order to sell voluntary insurance products (eligibility based on a criminal background check conducted by the state’s department of insurance).
  • Willingness and ability to relocate for promotion into a Branch Manager role (full relocation package is provided for moves more than 50 miles).

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year or more of customer facing sales experience (i.e. retail sales, goal-oriented, incentive based) is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Go through an 18-24 month on-the-job paid training program in branch operations and management.
  • Originate new loan business by contacting current and potential customers.
  • Understand customer needs to recommend suitable consumer loan and voluntary product solutions.
  • Educate customers on consumer lending services, including credit improvement and debt consolidation.
  • Assist customers through the loan application process.
  • Make payment reminder calls when needed.
  • Evaluate loan applications.
  • Perform risk analysis.
  • Make credit decisions.
  • Administer loan closings.
  • Process insurance claims.
  • Assist the Branch Manager with recruiting and training.
  • Assist the Branch Manager with developing and implementing plans to meet sales goals.
  • Promote core values and ensure an outstanding customer experience.
