As a Retail In-Store Assistant Branch Manager at Michigan First Credit Union, you’ll be challenged to deliver five-star service while building relationships with our members. Requirements

Must have an associate’s degree or two years of equivalent leadership experience with a bank or credit union.
Thorough knowledge of lending processes and experience with financial institution products and services is a must.
Outgoing, personable candidates.
Critical thinking skills.
Coaching experience.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and early evenings.
Communications skills.
Computer savvy professionals.
Cool, calm and collected personalities.
Must be able to assist at any of our in-store locations to meet business needs.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is a plus!

Responsibilities

Serve as a motivational leader and share your expertise in lending, investments and other banking products and services with members, potential members, and your team.
Provide stellar service to Credit Union members.
Serve as a face for our brand.
Manage the details.
Teach and inspire.
Share our services.
Research.
Find better ways.
Lend a hand.
Crunch the numbers.
Aid with developing joint promotional opportunities with the retailer.
Help conduct promotions.
Support the Credit Union in promoting products and services, and lead team members to do the same.
Ensure the branch image is favorable and reflects a sound and secure financial institution that employs prudent housekeeping procedures, safety measures, and provides a pleasant atmosphere for members, including privacy, confidentiality, and ease of use.
