Job Summary: The Assistant Branch Manager, in partnership with the Branch Manager, will provide leadership and training to branch personnel. The Assistant Branch Manager is responsible for assisting the Branch Manager and Territory Manager in growing installation product sales within the assigned branch territory. Hours: Monday to Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm.

3or more years of experience as a Senior Branch Associate or equivalent work experience.
Previous customer service or retail sales experience.
Ability to lift upto60 pounds at times.

Nice To Haves

Flooring industry experience preferred.
Forklift, pallet jack and RF experience preferred.
Working knowledge of WMS system's preferred.

Responsibilities

Partner with assigned Territory/Branch Manager to hire, train, and mentor and develop branch personnel.
Evaluate SOP’s and communicate and train on new or revised procedures.
Collaborate with assigned Territory/Branch Manager to plan and implement branch operation and sales objectives to achieve Company goals and objectives.
Support and train branch personnel on company policies and procedures.
Stay up to date on product line features and benefits and determine customer requirements to provide the best product solutions.
Develop and maintain relationships with customers and continuously model professionalism and exceptional customer service.
Perform warehouse and operational functions such as Will Call, Shipping, and Receiving.
Partner with the Branch Manager to maintain assigned inventory levels and reorder product when necessary.
Collaborate with branch personnel to maintain a clean, safe, and visibly pleasing work environment including merchandising the branch showroom.
Maintain and monitor equipment and make minor repairs when needed and escalate major repairs to the Territory/Manager.
Perform other duties as assigned.
