About The Position

Partner with the Branch Manager in the responsibilities of overall branch profits, customer and employee management and efficient operations of the branch; including developing an engaged team to provide solutions to improve customer's financial needs. As the Assistant Branch Manager, you are expected to lead by example with meeting and exceeding individual sales goals and providing legendary service at all times. Efficient operations of the activities in the branch with little disruption to service; including scheduling, audits, teller offage system, security, ATM, vault management, etc. Provide a wide variety of customer service and teller functions effectively and efficiently that may range from opening accounts to processing teller transactions. Help customers benefit from our products and services in a customer-centric manner. Ensures adherence to established security procedures and reporting requirements; all team members comply with established bank operating procedures and practices by providing training as necessary. Set high standards regarding quality and quantity of work. Display commitment to the organization and enthusiasm for its products and services. Convey confidence in others capabilities, appealing to their unique needs, motives, and goals to achieve success. Support in the development and motivation of retail personnel ensuring employees are engaged, goal driven and sales / service driven while providing legendary service at all times. Follow and inspect regular sales activities and expectations. Communicate clear performance targets, evaluate progress, and provide specific feedback on a regular basis that enables others to understand when they have performed well and how they can improve in the future.

Requirements

  • Two years of progressive banking experience; customer service and teller experience preferred or equivalent combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Possess good judgement and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize, research and solve problems, attention to detail, and handle confidential information.
  • Strong interpersonal relations with the ability to work with customers and employees in a cooperative manner using excellent verbal, listening and communication skills.
  • Provide Legendary Service that exceeds expectations at every opportunities
  • Ability and desire to represent Central Bank in the community in a positive and professional manner.
