Assistant Branch Manager

The Assistant Branch Manager position is a working manager position, working directly with the team supporting daily operations and delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a strong focus on operational excellence.
Requirements
- 5+ years of demonstrated successful management experience
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to lead a team of Associates
- Solid understanding of customer service principles and practices
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient knowledge of inventory processes
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within all levels of organization and multiple departments
Nice To Haves
- Automotive industry knowledge and background is a plus
Responsibilities
- Hire, train, and manage the team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short and long term performance goals
- Develop and implement warehouse operations systems including workflows and action plans to meet productivity, quality, and customer service standards
- Responsible for execution and implementation of all procedures regarding picking, packing, shipping, receiving and ordering
- Manage inventory product and loss control including periodic inventory counts
- Establish continuous improvement practices to ensure that inventory levels are accurately reported and reconciled to shelved product
- Monitor physical inventory variances and limit internal adjustments for lost and found parts.
- Obtain and review quotes from parcel and freight vendors
- Enforce and create safety policies and procedures
