About The Position

The Assistant Branch Manager (ABM) at Unity Bank is responsible for the day-to-day management of the branch, ensuring efficient operations while adhering to bank policies and procedures. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior management experience in a banking or customer service environment.
• Strong knowledge of banking principles and practices.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to develop constructive relationships and work collaboratively with others.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures.
• Work closely with the Area Manager to address customer issues and drive sales growth.

• Perform daily operational activities including account maintenance, wire transfers, and cash management.
• Open new accounts and ensure all documentation is accurate.
• Conduct needs assessments and provide information on products and services to meet customer needs.
• Resolve customer issues in a timely manner and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Schedule branch staff for adequate coverage and manage staffing levels.
• Perform monthly audits and ensure timely completion of reports.
• Facilitate regular meetings to keep staff informed of updates and changes.
