This is an entry-level financial services position with a clear path to management within a growing financial services company. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Professional demeanor, positive attitude, strong communication and customer relations skills
  • Ability to work well independently, as well as a team member in a fast-paced environment and successfully navigate priorities
  • Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance, and a satisfactory driving record
  • Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background history, credit history and pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Ability to meet the eligibility requirements for insurance licensing in order to sell voluntary insurance products
  • Willingness and ability to relocate for promotion into a Branch Manager role

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year or more of customer facing sales experience (i.e. retail sales, goal-oriented, incentive based)
  • Spanish speaking skills

Responsibilities

  • Help customers meet their financial goals
  • Actively seek opportunities to originate new loan business by contacting current and potential customers
  • Listen to understand customer needs to recommend the best consumer loan and voluntary product solutions
  • Educate customers on consumer lending services, including how to improve credit and consolidate debt
  • Help customers through the loan application process
  • Make payment reminder calls when needed
  • Evaluate loan applications
  • Perform risk analysis
  • Make credit decisions
  • Administer loan closings
  • Process insurance claims
  • Assist the Branch Manager with recruiting and training
  • Develop and implement plans to meet sales goals
  • Promote core values and ensure an outstanding customer experience
