About The Position

The Assistant Branch Manager at FAIRWINDS Credit Union plays a crucial role in coordinating and managing branch operations alongside the Branch Manager. This position focuses on achieving branch sales objectives through strategic initiatives, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and fostering a positive work environment. The Assistant Branch Manager is also responsible for training and developing staff, providing loan services, and enhancing member relationships.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years of related experience and/or training
• Management skills to foster a coaching environment

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, train, and manage branch production and operational functions in conjunction with the Branch Manager.
• Participate in the creation and implementation of strategic initiatives to achieve branch sales objectives.
• Ensure timely and effective service delivery for members by meeting operational and service standards.
• Train and develop designated crewmembers as assigned by the Branch Manager.
• Communicate information about credit union products and services to members and assist where needed.
• Serve as a loan officer to provide loan services to members, including processing loan applications and disbursing proceeds.
• Open accounts for new members and offer products and services to both new and existing members.
• Utilize and train crew in cross-selling tactics and relationship-building strategies.
• Assist in strategic planning for the service center, including Business Loan strategies.
• Oversee functional areas of the branch, assisting in staffing, hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
