The Assistant Branch Manager II (ABM II) role requires a positive attitude and the ability to keep things always running smoothly. The ABM II handles the operational functions of the branch including but not limited to opening and closing the facilities, maintaining logs, and conducting internal audits. This role also manages, leads, and evaluates staff to ensure they achieve their highest level of customer service as well as personal development. The ABM II is responsible for transactional tasks involved in serving customers and exceeding expectations. This position will conduct the full spectrum of banking service, from evaluating what account a customer would fit best in, opening accounts, and servicing them.   • Punctual
  • Driven to succeed and open minded to learn more about new technology within our industry
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Three years customer service experience required

Responsibilities

  • Successfully manage, motivate, and coach the team of front-line staff and to perform the following tasks:
  • Keep track of employee schedules and attendance
  • Supervise daily banking activities
  • Inform staff of any information received from Corporate
  • Communicate expectations clearly
  • Delegate tasks as needed
  • Greet customers
  • Facilitate all transactions for customers across all financial account types and requests
  • Open accounts and teach customers how to gain the most potential from them
  • Maintain an accurate balance of cash drawers daily
  • Demonstrate knowledge of all accounts, products and services offered
  • Strong ability to identify customer needs and refer customers to additional business lines within The Bank
  • Support customers with all account and service needs
  • Be willing to help customers with additional benefits such as notary, faxing and check orders
  • Stay current on rates for CDs, savings IRAs and interest-bearing checking
  • Listen to customer needs and recommend the best solutions to help them succeed
  • Follows all Richwood Bank policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with State and Federal laws and regulations
  • Assist team with miscellaneous office support such as inventory of supplies and cookie Friday preparations
  • Scan proof – scanning all transactions daily into the computer
  • Demonstrate drive thru knowledge – speaker, transaction drawers/tube
