The Bilingual Assistant Branch Manager is responsible for supporting the Branch Manager in achieving excellence in all facets of branch operations, including inventory management, team development, customer value, and overall financial performance and growth. This role emphasizes creating a positive environment for branch associates and promoting a strong safety culture while ensuring customer success.

  • Create a positive environment for branch associates that encourages teamwork in alignment with SiteOne DNA.
  • Onboard, train, and coach branch associates in partnership with the Branch Manager.
  • Train and coach all branch associates in customer value best practices and facilitate a culture of customer success.
  • Promote an incident-free environment by emphasizing safety daily through leading by example.
  • Encourage a strong safety culture through workplace organization, training, and executing policies.
  • Monitor key performance metrics to assess daily, weekly, and monthly progress and track improvement initiatives.
  • Work with the Branch Manager to review performance metrics and track progress.
  • Partner with leadership and Field Support to understand the impact of emerging technologies on business performance and support their implementation.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in retail nursery, irrigation, and/or landscape industry preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years of managerial experience including leadership, issue management, motivation, and team building preferred.
  • Understanding of sales and operations planning process.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and leadership skills.
  • Ready and willing to learn and adopt new technologies and encourage others to do the same.
  • Working knowledge of accounting fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of market preferences, competition, regulations, and trends.
  • Higher education degree preferred.
  • High School or secondary diploma or equivalent required.
