About The Position
The Assistant Behavior Intervention Specialist (ABIS) position at YAI combines the roles of Direct Support Professional (DSP) and clinical leadership. The ABIS works directly with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in various settings, including their homes and workplaces. Under the supervision of the Behavior Intervention Specialist (BIS), the ABIS is responsible for educating team members on habilitative and Behavior Support Plans, assisting with clinical assessments, ensuring proper data collection, and providing direct feedback and education to the team.
