MHS Assistant Baseball Coach
About The Position
Maryville High School is seeking an Assistant Coach for the high school baseball Program. Position: Assistant Baseball Coach Start date - Spring 2026 Qualifications: Minimum 3 years high school coaching experience preferred Proven experience as a pitching coach with strong knowledge of pitching mechanics and player development preferred Baseball experience at the collegiate level preferred Application Procedure: Complete an online application on the Maryville City Schools website https://mcsd.tedk12.com/hire . Manage and supervise athletic activities, contests, and practice sessions, to promote individual growth in athletic skills, teamwork, discipline, respect, and good sportsmanship. Be present and active during any activity involving baseball athletes. Coordinate the development, promotion, and retention for the Baseball Program Develop and organize a regular practice schedule and practice plan along with other coaches to provide both individual and team development along with consistent implementation of expectations. Assist student-athletes with college recruitment. Actively support student athlete post-secondary goals. Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administrators, governing organizations (TSSAA), opponents, officials, staff, parents, and students. Incorporate best practices into a growth-oriented teaching/coaching style Perform duties assigned to all coaches by administrators Must develop and manage a team budget strictly according to bookkeeping procedures. Work with the administration to achieve district goals described within the Maryville City Schools Strategic Plan document
