Requirements

  • Outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to perform general housekeeping in the department and clean work areas.

Nice To Haves

  • Valid Food Handler Certification
  • Experience in supervising a team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer satisfaction through management of Bakery Clerks.
  • Assist the Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
  • Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Bakery team.
  • Execute rotation of merchandise and building of displays.
  • Monitor incoming cases for damaged items.
  • Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service and monitor the quality of Bakery products.
  • Unload and sort through store deliveries, operate, and maintain deli equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines/regulations.
