About The Position

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is currently looking for a talented part-time Assistant Bread Baker. We are looking for an individual who is as passionate about food quality, customer service, community & as we are! In the role of Assistant Bread Baker, you will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team who will offer a unique menu selection of artisan, sweet, & seasonal breads all baked with honest, whole ingredients.

Requirements

• Proven track record of demonstrating superhero abilities in the kitchen
• The schedule availability to work afternoons/nights
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Nice To Haves

• Large-scale baking/pastry experience
• Formal baking/pastry education

Responsibilities

• Following recipes
• Paying close attention to additional details to create one-of-a-kind breads
• Lifting large amounts of dough, flour, and other supplies all weighing 50 lbs. plus
• Ability to stand, lift, and mix
• Work through change
• Be able to be flexible
• Keeping a close eye on what's cooking
