Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell is seeking a highly motivated attorney to join her team as an Assistant Attorney General in the Office of the Attorney General’s Trial Division within the Government Bureau. The Assistant Attorney General will represent and defend the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, its agencies, and employees in a wide variety of civil lawsuits, including tort, contract, erroneous convictions, eminent domain, employment, and civil rights cases. The Assistant Attorney General will maintain an active caseload, including assuming responsibility for drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, taking and defending depositions, preparing and arguing dispositive motions, and trying cases in the superior and federal courts. Our current hybrid model includes some remote workdays for most positions. The Attorney General’s Office is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
