Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Handle administrative licensing actions from inception through administrative hearing, exceptions, and judicial review for the Marijuana, Liquor & Tobacco Enforcement, Natural Medicine, and Firearm Dealer Divisions.
  • Prepare motions, negotiate settlements, and meet required deadlines for administrative hearings, often within 30 to 90 days from case initiation.
  • Represent the Divisions in state and federal courts regarding regulatory non-compliance and enforcement actions.
  • Assist in the development of new regulatory programs for natural medicine and firearm dealers.
  • Take primary responsibility for individual cases, with increasing responsibilities over time.
