Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Represent DHS in state and federal courts, as well as administrative agency appeals.
  • Handle all aspects of civil litigation, including initial pleadings, discovery, motion practice, mediation, trial, and appeal.
  • Collaborate with attorneys within the division and at DHS.
  • Participate in evidentiary hearings and trials in various forums.
  • Occasionally travel throughout Minnesota for case-related matters.
