About The Position

The successful candidate will serve under the direction of the Head Athletic Trainer and support the Athletic Training needs for SUNY Canton's intercollegiate sports. This person will help oversee the evaluation and treatment of student-athletes for injuries, rehabilitation protocols, prevention programs, testing, and other athletic training procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in athletic training, or related field.
• Current BOC certification, current NYS licensure, or eligible.
• Current CPR and AED certifications.
• Ability to work evenings/weekends and some off campus travel with athletic teams as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive student athlete healthcare within scope of practice as directed by the supervising physician and indicated by SUNY Canton Sports Medicine Policies and Procedures.
