The Department of Oncological Sciences and Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI) invite applications for tenure-track faculty positions at the assistant or associate/full professor levels. We seek outstanding cancer researchers who will complement and extend existing strengths in the Department. HCI provides an outstanding environment, with state-of-the-art facilities, excellent shared resources, access to clinical samples for research, and NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center designation in a collegial and collaborative Department culture. We seek outstanding scientists centered on cancer biology and/or data science programs that address fundamental questions in cancer. Candidates should lead innovative cancer-focused programs in areas such as hematologic and solid tumors, including children's and hormone-driven cancers or melanoma, tumor cell microenvironment, metastasis, signaling, metabolism, structural biology, or therapeutics. Candidates' research programs should apply modern and innovative cancer research approaches, such as genetically-engineered and patient-derived cancer models, genomics, data science, and/or artificial intelligence approaches to the above-mentioned areas.
