About The Position

The Department of Pediatrics at Boston Medical Center, Section of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, and the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine are seeking candidates for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor of Pediatrics depending on experience. This role involves providing clinical care, participating in teaching, and conducting research in Pediatric Infectious Diseases.

Requirements

• MD/DO, MD/PhD, degrees or equivalent
• BC/BE in Pediatric Infectious Diseases
• Holding (or eligible for) Massachusetts physician license

Responsibilities

• Providing clinical care (inpatient and outpatient)
• Participating in teaching medical students, residents, fellows, and other health professionals
• Having a leadership role in infection prevention and antimicrobial stewardship activities
• Conducting clinical, translational, epidemiologic or laboratory research in the field of Pediatric Infectious Diseases
• Other duties as needed
