The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences (NRES) in the College of Agricultural, Life and Natural Sciences (CALNS) at Alabama A&M University is seeking a dynamic, innovative, and collaborative faculty and scientist in the field of Soil Microbial Biochemistry & Microbiology at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. This is a full-time 9-month tenure-track appointment with 50% Teaching and 50% Research, with an additional three-month summer research employment. The rank and tenure-status for this position is negotiable based on qualifications and experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and training in microbiology and biochemistry of soils and related areas. The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences (NRES) includes undergraduate programs in Environmental Science, and Forestry. Graduate programs include Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Plant and Soil Science.
