The University of Lynchburg, a private regional university located in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in central Virginia, is seeking a full-time tenure track or clinical track position in the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. The DPT Program is part of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences with opportunities for interprofessional experiences with a variety of other health science programs. The program is housed in the Graduate Health Sciences Building with more than 37,000 square feet dedicated to physical therapy instruction, service, and research. The curriculum features an innovative hybrid model of instruction that prepares student physical therapists to become generalist practitioners who become leaders in the profession. Clinical practice is promoted among faculty and opportunities exist within the onsite free clinic. The Program received initial accreditation in 2013 and is scheduled for re-review in 2028.
