About The Position

Palm Beach Atlantic University (PBA) invites applications and nominations for a visionary and mission-driven leader to serve as Assistant/Associate Professor of Philosophy of Religion and/or Associate Dean for Academic Affairs in the School of Ministry. Requirements

• Doctorate in Philosophy, required. (AOS: Open, with preference for Epistemology or Philosophy of Mind, AOC: Philosophy of Religion).
• Congregational ministry experience is preferred.
• Must have a proven record of effective teaching, scholarly engagement, and academic leadership.
• Proven interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Requires a commitment to the integration of faith and learning.
• Alignment with the World Evangelical Alliance Statement of Faith is required.

Responsibilities

• Leads academic program planning, scheduling, and assessment.
• Supports faculty development and evaluation.
• Coordinates accreditation documentation and compliance (ATS, SACSCOC).
• Teaches undergraduate courses in Apologetics and graduate courses in Philosophy for the M.A. in Philosophy of Religion program and related disciplines.
• Mentors students in academic, professional, and spiritual formation.
• Collaborates with the Dean and university leadership on strategic initiatives.
