About The Position

The School of Business invites applications for a full-time non-tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor of Management position, with an anticipated start date of August 17, 2026. Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. The School of Business, housed in the nation’s one and only College of Business, Security and Intelligence, offers business programs that are accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). In addition, the Aviation Business Administration majors are accredited by the Aviation Accreditation Board International (AABI). The School of Business is also one of the only schools in the nation to offer an undergraduate forensic accounting degree in a traditional, on-campus environment. The individual filling this position should demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching undergraduate courses in Management including Principles of Management, Organizational Behavior, Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, etc. Experience with, or demonstrated interest in, aviation or aerospace-related applications is desirable. Candidates should also show evidence of scholarly research and professional activities including in-field research publication or promising progress toward publication, grant writing, and other external funding opportunities, and willingness to engage in college and university service.

Requirements

  • Minimum qualifications are a Master’s degree in Management or related field and previous teaching experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Ph.D. or DBA degree in Management or a closely related field completed by the appointment start date of August 17, 2026.
  • Demonstrated (or high potential for) teaching excellence in the areas of Management and the integrations of analytics and/or software skills into classes as well as the potential in conducting scholarly research.
  • Experience or interest in aviation- or aerospace-related applications is considered a plus.
