About The Position
The Department of Art and Design at Montclair State University is seeking a full-time, tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor of Foundations to begin on September 1, 2025. This role involves leadership, teaching, scholarship, and service responsibilities, focusing on shaping the foundational experiences of first-year students. The successful candidate will teach courses in the foundations area and will be responsible for developing class schedules, advising on adjunct faculty recruitment, coordinating budgets, and fostering a collaborative culture within the department.
