About The Position

The Department of Internal Medicine is seeking applications for a full-time faculty position in Endocrinology at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level. Responsibilities will include patient care in the inpatient and outpatient setting as well as supervision and teaching of Endocrinology Fellows, Internal Medicine Residents and Medical Students. The training programs are affiliated with the University Medical Center (UMC) of Southern Nevada, and offer a comprehensive mix of inpatient and ambulatory teaching experiences. UNLV physicians are an academic faculty who provide excellent compassionate care to a large and diverse community in the Las Vegas valley. As an employee of UNLV, you will be part of the most diverse university in the USA and a member of the Rebel Family, which includes the faculty, students and staff of the School of Medicine as well as several allied health professional schools. This is a non-tenure-track position.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree.
• Successfully completed an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine Residency training.
• Successfully completed an ACGME accredited Endocrinology Fellowship program.
• Board certified in Internal Medicine.
• Board certified or board eligible in Endocrinology prior to the start date.
• Possess and maintain a Nevada State Board of Pharmacy license and DEA License.
• Obtain Nevada medical license prior to the start date.
• Meet malpractice coverage requirements and obtain privileges at UMC and other site locations as needed.
