Greenville University seeks a full-time 12-month Assistant/Associate Professor to lead the academic offerings of the online Organizational Leadership (Bachelors) and Business (MBA) degree programs within the School of Business. The majority of courses are delivered in an online format. The selected candidate must provide evidence of a vibrant Christian faith, clearly understand, and internalize the mission of Greenville University, and articulate the value of Christian higher education. As a faculty member, the selected candidate will participate in departmental and university committee assignments and other activities to advance the mission of Greenville University.

  • Modified teaching load in various modalities as needed.
  • Academic leadership and oversight of business online programs.
  • Use computer technologies relevant to the discipline to cover face-to-face, hybrid, and online course formats.
  • Supervise and advise students, pray for them, and help them in their academic and spiritual formation.
  • Perform University service, including committee work as assigned.
  • Engage in department and campus service activities.
  • Participate in professional development, including grant writing and research activities.
  • Assist with recruiting and marketing activities to build student awareness of the online business programs and support student retention efforts.
  • Commit to the development and execution of experiential learning opportunities.
  • Must be well organized and able to present material using various methods in the online environment.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to relate complex concepts to diverse audiences, and demonstrated cultural competency.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Doctorate degree (Ph.D., D.B.A., or Ed.D.) in Business Administration, Organizational Leadership or a closely related business field required.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in higher education, preferably in online program administration.
  • Prior experience teaching business-related courses in higher education, preferably in an online or hybrid format.
  • Demonstrated ability in curriculum development, instructional design, and academic program assessment.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (e.g., D2L).
  • Skills in planning, executing, and evaluating programs to align with institutional goals.
  • The successful candidate will have content expertise and teaching passion to develop the creative minds of undergraduate students in the leadership and business disciplines within a Christian worldview.
  • Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching, student support, university service, and scholarly activity.
  • Ability to integrate technology and experiential learning into coursework.
  • Versatility and willingness to serve as an integral part of a diversified and active team of business faculty.
