The Occupational Therapy Department at Tennessee State University invites applications for a 12-month, tenure-track position of Assistant/Associate Professor of Occupational Therapy. We seek applicants who have practice experience in adult outpatient rehabilitation. In addition, successful applicants will be competent in a secondary role of teaching/supervising students in the pro bono outpatient Tiger Clinic. Less frequent job responsibilities will include: student advising; curriculum review and development; program evaluation; student recruitment and admissions; participation in service and research activities. This opening offers the incumbent an opportunity to join the collegial faculty and staff at one of 7 OT programs housed in an Historically Black College/University (HBCU), and located along the Cumberland River just 10 minutes from the heart of downtown Nashville, TN.
