About The Position

The UMKC School of Law seeks to hire an entry level (Assistant Professor) or junior lateral (Associate Professor) tenure-track faculty member in Law & Technology or Administrative Law, especially with a focus in Health Law or Environmental Law. The position will begin in Fall 2026. The School of Law is looking for faculty members with a strong commitment to educating lawyers for the 21st century and those who will actively participate in our collegial, collaborative community.

Requirements

• A J.D. or equivalent degree is required.
• Prior lateral faculty appointment at a comparable institution or career experience equivalency is required to be considered for an Associate Professor.
