Vermont State University (VTSU) invites applicants for a full-time tenure track position in our Department of Nursing: Bachelor of Science Nursing Program located on the Castleton campus. This is an in-person faculty position that will require the individual to manage the on campus clinical skills lab as part of the workload. Clinical expertise will determine additional courses taught. There are several opportunities for new faculty to create a dynamic active learning environment for students. Faculty expectations are commensurate with the expectations outlined in the Faculty Federation Agreement and include demonstrating effective teaching and advising; engaging in scholarship and professional practice; and providing service to the University and the greater Vermont community. Qualified candidates will be offered a tenure track position or a one-year terminal contract, renewable for up to three years based on the individual's years of full-time clinical nursing experience and years of full-time teaching in an accredited nursing program.
