About The Position

The Honors College at Washington State University invites applications for a Scholarly Assistant/Associate Professor, Career track faculty position in Pullman, WA, all specialties will be considered. This position is a fixed-term, nine-month, three-year appointment with possibility of renewal. We seek applicants who are strongly committed to quality undergraduate education. It is anticipated that the successful candidate will begin the appointment on August 1, 2026 The successful candidate will be expected to teach three Honors courses per semester and direct the Honors First Year Student Experience courses (peer mentoring). The successful candidate is also expected to collaborate with Honors College faculty, mentor undergraduate students, and participate in appropriate levels of service to the college, university, and community.

Requirements

  • Earned a terminal degree in field of study, by time of appointment.
  • Proven or potential for successful teaching and instruction
  • Three (3) or more years of successful teaching experience (Associate Professor Rank).
