About The Position

The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine is seeking a full-time, non-tenure track Assistant/Associate Professor of Clinical Surgery specializing in multi-organ transplantation. This role involves clinical practice, resident teaching, and clinical research within a top-tier Department of Surgery. The successful candidate will join a busy transplant program and contribute to the education of surgical residents and medical students while supporting the department's academic mission.

Requirements

• MD/DO or equivalent degree.
• Completion of a five-year accredited residency in Surgery.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Surgery with specialty training in Transplantation Surgery.
• Licensure by the Ohio Medical Board by the time of appointment.
• Demonstrated interest in the education of resident surgeons and medical students.
• Commitment to an academic career through research and teaching.

Nice To Haves

• Independence in liver transplantation and living donor liver transplant.
• Experience with NRP and robotic surgery.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the operating room and clinical practice for solid organ abdominal transplantation.
• Teach and advise surgical residents, fellows, and medical students.
• Engage in clinical research related to transplantation and surgical practices.
