About The Position

The University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) is seeking a tenure-track faculty member at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the Department of Public Policy, Management, and Analytics (PPMA). The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching graduate and undergraduate courses, engaging in active research, and contributing to service within the profession. The position begins in August 2025 and offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Requirements

• PhD in public policy, public administration, political science, economics, or a related field by August 2025.

• Ability to contribute to public budgeting and financial management research and courses.
• Ability to contribute to public management research and courses.
• Expertise in statistics and data analytics, public policy, public and nonprofit management, financial management, or urban/local governance.

Responsibilities

• Teach four classes per year for multiple degree programs in different modalities.
• Engage in an active research program and demonstrate excellence in teaching at both graduate and undergraduate levels.
• Participate in service to the profession.
• Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
