About The Position

The University of Indianapolis is seeking a full-time, tenure-track faculty member for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy. This role is designed for individuals who are eager to contribute to a nationally recognized program and engage in teaching, research, and service within a collaborative environment. The position emphasizes a commitment to education for service and aims to prepare students for effective professional practice in physical therapy.

Requirements

• Preferred expertise in musculoskeletal physical therapy and research.
• Preferred experience as a successful academic and/or clinical instructor.
• Evidence of an ongoing or developing scholarly agenda.
• A terminal academic doctoral degree from a regionally accredited institution (e.g. PhD, EdD, DHS) preferred.
• Eligibility and intention to obtain an Indiana Physical Therapy licensure.

Nice To Haves

• Doctoral candidates (ABD) or candidates with a DPT and exceptional clinical experience may be considered.
