About The Position

Mississippi College invites applications for a tenure-track position at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor in Mathematics, starting in August 2025. Requirements

• PhD in Mathematics.
• Proven instructional skills and experience.
• Experience with educational technology and online homework systems.

Responsibilities

• Teach approximately 12 hours per week and hold office hours for student counseling and support.
• Utilize technology, including online homework systems, in teaching.
• Develop and teach courses in the university's online program.
• Serve as a resource person for part-time instructors assigned to other mathematics service courses.
• Participate in departmental and campus-wide committees.
• An active research program involving undergraduate students is encouraged.
