Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited academic program.
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Florida.
• Prior experience as a pharmacist at a community-based pharmacy practice for at least 2 years or greater.
• Meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor.

Nice To Haves

• Prior teaching experience in a Doctor of Pharmacy program.
• Completion of a PGY1 residency program in Community Based Care.
• Strong clinical interest in medication therapy management, remote patient monitoring, and transitions of care.
• Candidates with joint degrees (MPH, MHA, MBA, etc.) in addition to a PharmD.
• Candidates with board certification from BPS, or other credentialing from an accredited body.

Responsibilities

• Teaching: 40% as assigned; includes didactic, interprofessional, and experiential settings.
• Clinical Duties: 40% Efforts may be dedicated to activities that align with the incumbent's professional discipline.
• Service: 10% as assigned.
• Research: 10% Efforts may be dedicated to research activities that align with the incumbent's professional discipline.
• Responsible for student success coaching, mentoring, and related activities.
• May represent the university, college/school, or department/unit on university and/or professional organization committees.
